NOTICE of RACE
MERRIMAC MEMORIAL REGATTA
MAY 24, 2008
Portsmouth Boat Club is proud to sponsor the annual Merrimac Memorial Regatta, a small boat race for sailors of all ages.
Where:
When: Saturday 24 May 2008 first start 10:00
Rules: Rules will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2005-2008
This Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions to be provided day of race
Registration: On line registration is suggested, www.portsmouthboatclub.org
This will expedite the boats rating for classifications and awards.
Skippers meeting 0900
Entry Fee: $10.00 includes two lunch tickets
Additional lunch tickets $5.00 each
Classes: Open, Laser, Moth, multi-hull
Ratings: Per US Sailings
Races: Single Fleet, Race Committee may split into two fleets with separate starts.
Courses; Course to be determined at registration
Skippers Meeting; 0900 at Launch Site
Social/Lunch Hamburgers and Hot Dogs on the grill, cold drinks, chips, potato salad, cold slaw, baked beans and desert
Awards: We anticipate 5 classes with 3 trophies per class
Notes: Tee Shirts available at $15.00 each limited quantities available
